Weather - If you appreciate the beauty of a severe storm and understand the danger, you'll enjoy these resources for weather enthusiasts, weather spotters and storm chasers.

Climbing - Climbing is a great way to get a challenging fun and workout. Finding good places to climb in northeast Ohio takes a little effort, but it is usually time well spent.

Backpacking - Backcountry travel and exploration are inherently dangerous and require extensive knowledge and skills in combination with the proper equipment. Reading the tales of other folks adventures is by no means a substitute for experience and sound judgment, but every little bit of information helps.

Mountaineering - Winter travel can be hazardous, but gaining knowledge of the terrain and environment can contribute to a successful trip.

Nordic and Backcountry Skiing - Backcountry and Nordic skiing is a great method of winter travel. This sport attracts individualists who enjoy freedom and solitude.
